Tour of the Castle of Monemvasia (visit to the Upper Town for those who would like to do so).

Departure for the port of Gerakas, the picturesque village with its whitewashed stone houses with blue windows, 24 km outside Monemvasia. One of the lesser known destinations of Laconia, it is an area of rare beauty. The one and only natural fjord of Greece is located here!

After touring the village, we will go along an ascending path for 10 minutes, to the ruins of the Acropolis of ancient Ierakos, a city that flourished in antiquity and mainly in Roman times.

The view of the fjord and the village is unique and rewards you for the short ascent!

Return to the port and possibility for swimming and/or meal for those of you who would like to do so.
